A Young Dreamer's Glimpse into What's Possible

A few days ago, I had the chance to attend a Happy Hour gathering for women entrepreneurs, hosted on a stunning rooftop bar. I was kindly invited by my CEOs, Jacquie Evanko and Shinu Singh, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most inspiring evenings I’ve had in a long time. As a 21-year-old intern with big dreams in the world of entrepreneurship, stepping into that space felt like walking into a new dimension — one where everything I imagined for myself suddenly seemed a little more real.
Before this event, I often found myself struggling to find the courage to explore my business ideas. I come from a background where I didn’t have entrepreneurs around me, so while the idea of building something of my own was exciting, it also felt distant and a bit unrealistic. But being surrounded by these incredible women — each one unique in her background, personality, and field of work — really changed my perspective. It didn’t feel intimidating. It felt empowering.
The evening began with a simple but incredibly deep question: “What is my superpower?” Each of us had to answer it, and while it may sound easy, it actually pushed us all to look inward and reflect. That one question set the tone for the whole gathering. It created an intimate and safe space where trust flowed easily. We opened up about our challenges, our wins, and the ongoing search for balance between work and personal life — especially for those who are mothers and business owners at the same time.
